Beeline RPO and EG&G Technical Services, Inc.

At least three significant problems or issues the buyer and advisor(s) overcame in the course of the relationship and the ingenious methods or practices used.

EG&G extensively utlilized Beeline RPO's sourcing services in 2007 to help address issues in three areas: 1) Existing large backlog of requests needed to be significantly reduced, 2) Key leadership positions needed to be filled 3)Proposal support for major clients, including NASA, was needed.

By effectively leveraging Beeline RPO's sourcing services and depth of skill EG&G was able to not only significantly reduce its' backlog but also close requests that were over 400 days old. Beeline RPO has a deeper understanding of the industry, superior networking skills, and more of a collaborative sales mentality when it comes to sourcing candidates so highly qualified individuals were ultimately hired into positions that had previously been impossible to fill.

Any organization that has key leadership positions open knows that the business can suffer as a result. Quality of candidate and speed to fill these positions were higher with Beeline sourcing than would have been realized without their support.

Lastly, as a defense contractor, effective propsal support is essential to the success of the business and enables revenue growth through future contract wins. Beeline sourcing helped to find a large volume of candidates for high priority proposals. The Beeline sourcing ultimately helped to facilitate a contract win.

The ingenious approaches and/or programs initiated through this relationship and how results were measured.

Results of the sourcing relationship were measured by a significant increase in candidate volume, ability to fill a significant backlog some of which had been open for longer than a year, and filling the open leadership postitions that had remained open. The sourcing from Beeline RPO enabled revenue to be captured that was being lost.

In terms of approach, for Beeline, it all started by obtaining a firm understanding of what EG&G was seeking in terms of candidates and qualifications to the work environment and the future employees that will be successful in their company. Beeline has been able to work very closely with EG&G's senior management and embraced the vision they share of their growth plans and hiring objectives. By targeting extremely specific skillsets at the VP and Director level in other industries, Beeline has been able to provide EG&G with an executive search function at an unparalleled cost and service level than found with other vendors.

To provide a more specific example, Beeline worked to successfully deliver a high performing sourcing solution to EG&G for a significant proposal with NASA. Beeline's approach was to instantly create a strong network of candidate referrals and communication amongst potential employees by selling EG&G as one of the best employers in the Engineering and Program Management field. Beeline developed its' team of recruiters for EG&G by training them quickly on the focus and functions of NASA and on EG&G's purpose and goal of winning a key proposal serving this important government customer. Beeline's marketing and sales campaign was highly effective and resulted in a very high number of candidates. Beeline ultimately delivered over 25 leadership candidates for key positions on this project and received many accolades from EG&G on the level of support to this critical proposal initiative.

How this relationship made ingenious contributions, advancing the practice of HR transformation and/or HRO.

Sourcing from Beeline is an important part of EG&Gs overall recruiting success. It has enabled in-house recruiting to focus on supporting their business units while hard to fill positions are supported by Beeline sourcing behind the scenes. In addition, when large scale candidate flow is required, staff recruiters are not stretched to a point that stops 2008 HROA Gala Nominations

them from providing high quality service to their hiring managers. Instead, Beeline RPO sourcing partners with EG&G recruiters to manage proposal support and other needs to successfully meet the needs of the business. HR transformation is realized through Beeline RPOs back-office sourcing support to enable retained employees to focus on other important day to day recruiting demands. It is a solid partnership and strong complement to the in-house recruiting function.

Beeline has been integral to the recruiting function at EG&G since 2005. Since that time, we have utilized their services to conduct a recruiting assessment for one of our business units. The results of this assessment enabled the business unit to streamline the recruiting process, increase the quality of service provided to hiring managers which in turn, positively impacted the credibility of the HR team. The improved recruiting performance has contributed to this business unit meeting its financial and growth objectives each year.

We also contracted with BeeLine to provide a two day Basic Recruiting course to approximately sixty of HR and recruiting staff. This training provided the opportunity for EG&G to establish a consistent and highly effective approach to recruiting by standardizing the process flow and educating our staff on full life cycle recruiting. This training enhanced the skills and credibility of the HR staff which contributes to our overall growth objectives.

In 2007, we established a centralized recruiting function within EG&G and turned to Beeline to supplement our recruiting efforts. They have supported numerous high profile and critical recruiting projects and gained praise and respect among the hiring managers who they support.

When we have a critical need that requires focus and immediate response, we turn to BeeLine. Their responsiveness and commitment to each of the projects they support has been excellent. They know our business and therefore can quickly respond with quality candidates.
