A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…or more precisely, today, at a movie theater in Colorado. IQNavigator reimagined the corporate holiday party and hosted an intergalactic gathering at the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. All of IQN’s Colorado-based employees participated in a Star Wars costume contest at the company’s headquarters and then paraded to the nearby Greenwood Plaza Theaters to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens on opening day.
But IQN didn’t go on this hyperspace journey alone: The company also brought deserving kids from Shiloh House to participate in the festivities and enjoy the movie. Shiloh House is a non-profit organization that supports at-risk youth and their families. IQN has worked closely with their team for years as a part of our community outreach including donating gifts for Shiloh’s Christmas Elf program, providing laptop computers for use by Shiloh House kids, and frequent volunteering by IQN employees. We’re really excited that the kids were able to join us for a super-fun afternoon.
IQN and the Shiloh House kids were also joined by some very special guests from the Mountain Garrison of the 501st Legion – a battalion of Storm Troopers and other Star Wars characters in authentic costumes that bring Star Wars movies to life. The Mountain Garrison brings its Star Wars magic to charitable efforts and Star Wars-themed events and have been kind enough to make this IQN event extra special for the Shiloh House kids and our employees.
