N ext, there are all the clients, prospects and partners who have already accepted our invitation to attend and participate. And folks are still RSVPing and making plans to join us as I write this. (Remember, even though we are only a week out, it is not too late to make your plans – just shoot me an email!)

There are several reasons why I am looking forward to the IQNsiders industry conference event in Colorado Springs next week.

Let’s start with the venue. It’s at the Broadmoor… enough said, right?!

But, all that aside, the number one reason I am so excited about attending IQNavigator’s industry conference this year is because of all the love and attention that is planned for the hottest segment of our industry, SOW-based services.

Regardless of where you and your company may be on the services procurement maturity curve, we are going to have relevant and informative track sessions, roundtables and breakout sessions led by industry veterans and SOW experts that are sure to add value to your particular circumstance. The networking opportunities with experienced SOW program leaders – companies that have hundreds of millions of SOW-based services under VMS management across several different categories from consulting to field services – will be invaluable to program stakeholders looking to expand existing program scope to include SOW.

The SOW and services procurement thought leadership that will be shared at IQNsiders will not be like the typical SOW topics we have all seen floating around our industry for years. No, we are going to be bold and fully transparent about how we envision the future of the VMS-led SOW program, and how we are investing in our product to deliver on a single-platform services procurement vision focused on ROI and outcomes. From channel optimization to professional services benchmarking, we will be providing fresh new analysis that will clearly demonstrate the value of managing SOW spend through VMS technology including a full review of the Control Landscape Map for SOW and the thought-provoking new maturity model we call the spend-labor split paradigm.

If you’ve been looking for a chance to get your SOW on (and really, who isn’t?!), then IQNsiders next week in Colorado Springs is for you! (And me, the SOW guy!)
