IQNavigator Gains Place on UIK’s G-Cloud 7 Digital Marketplace.
LONDON, UK, February 17, 2016 – IQNavigator (IQN), the leading, independent provider of non-employee workforce management solutions, has been confirmed as an accredited supplier of Software-as-a- Service for the G-Cloud 7 Digital Marketplace, the UK Government’s latest iteration of its cloud procurement network
IQN’s simple-to-use SaaS solution enables government organisations to manage every type of non-employee, from temps, freelancers and consultants to outside vendors working on major projects. The IQN Vendor Management Systems (VMS) provides visibility and management to ensure compliance, implement process efficiencies and deliver immediate cost savings.
The G-Cloud framework was launched in 2012 to support Government-wide adoption of cloud computing, to improve the performance levels and efficiency of IT services, while reducing costs. It allows public sector organisations to select and purchase Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and other specialist cloud services from approved suppliers.
“With the increasing use of contingent labour and the greater need for cost savings, compliance and security, we are seeing a growing demand for our VMS solutions from the public sector, not just in the UK but across Europe,” said Simon Fahie, Managing Director EMEA, IQNavigator. “We’re delighted to have achieved accreditation for G-Cloud 7, as one of the first suppliers offering cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) solutions.”
Total UK government spending on IT services is estimated at around £11 billion per year and the value of sales through G-Cloud to the end of November 2015 reached £903 million – a figure expected to approach £3 billion in 2016.
