The challenge

Founded in 2004, this client gives people the power to stay connected with friends and family, share activities, photos, videos, and express ideas that are important to them.

Supporting more than 2.3 billion users worldwide with eight different social media platforms, the client depends on a highly skilled workforce mix of employees, contingent staff, and contractors in multiple locations in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

To manage this workforce, the client needed better visibility, better reporting, and more innovative sourcing and control of all categories of external labor. This required a higher level of collaboration and technology than its incumbent vendor management system (VMS) provider was able to deliver. As a result, the client turned to Beeline.

The solution

Beeline proposed not only supporting conventional Contingent Staffing on a global basis, but client-branded private talent pools to expand their talent pipeline through Direct Sourcing. To ensure global policy consistency, Beeline offered its Regional VMS solution for countries with a low contingent workforce headcount.

The results

  • With their program’s implementation complete, the client has full procure-to-pay functionality for contingent staffing in 40 countries worldwide, with standardized workflows and complete headcount and assignment tracking on a country, regional, and global basis. In addition, a pilot direct sourcing program was implemented in Ireland. This solution is now being rolled out in the U.S., with Singapore scheduled to follow.
