The challenge
This client provides investment management, account servicing and administration, research and trading, and financial data analytics for institutional investors. Responsible for more than 10 percent of the world’s assets, they serve more than 100 global markets. They have seen explosive innovation, social change, and market disruption, and needed a partner to help them raise their contingent workforce to the next level to maintain their competitive advantage in the market.
A multi-country, multi-currency client with hundreds of suppliers globally and complex regulatory and security requirements, they needed to ensure policy, regulatory compliance, and standardized integrations. The client also had hundreds of infrequent users who needed a system that would be intuitive to operate but sophisticated in its capabilities and able to provide accurate, detailed reporting.
Beeline provides end-to-end visibility and reports back on all metrics in concise, measurable ways to enhance procurement processes, workforce planning, corporate governance, labor relations, and security.
The solution
Supported by their incumbent MSP, the client thoroughly evaluated the workforce management technology marketplace looking for a true business partner. They selected Beeline to elevate their contingent labor management program and ensure they got the most from their investment.
Focusing on extended workforce visibility, compliance, and cost control, the client implemented Beeline’s solution in the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific region. Each country was configured individually to support local regulatory requirements, taxes, currencies, and business practices.

Services Procurement: Recognizing that a large part of their extended workforce consists of statement of work (SOW)-based service contractors, the client implemented Beeline Services Procurement in the same 16 localities. This not only helps to automate their sourcing and management of professional services, but also helps to prevent the use of SOW projects as a costly alternative to contingent staffing.
Resource Tracking: The client has also implemented Beeline Resource Tracking in 41 countries and territories. Resource Tracking provides a single repository for tracking all extended workforce resources, regardless of resource type, location, or hours worked. In addition to providing 100 percent visibility of the client’s entire extended workforce, this functionality is helping the client seamlessly transition from unmanaged tracking to managed sourcing, as they work to determine the correct categories of spend and compliance needs for each resource.
The result
Today, Beeline tracks, manages, and optimizes the company’s non-employee labor while integrating with their most mission critical applications like Workday, Oracle Financials, and Sailpoint - the client’s ID management and provisioning application.
With Beeline, the client has centralized sourcing and management of the global non-employee workforce, and can capture contingent spend enterprise-wide, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, reduce costs through competitive bidding, tier suppliers based on performance, and standardize rate cards. Beeline also provides end-to-end visibility and reports back on all metrics in concise, measurable ways to enhance procurement processes, workforce planning, corporate governance, labor relations, and security.
